GOOGLE CLOUD SCHOLARSHIP 2018/2019

         
   
   Google invites nonprofits around the world to query the data and change the world through its applications open for the Google Cloud Data Solution for Change – Nonprofit Program 2018.

    Whether it’s detecting Alzheimer’s, creating sustainable food systems, or solving unemployment, nonprofits and NGOs around the world use Google Cloud to take on real-world challenges.

Worth of Award

All nonprofits who are accepted to the program are eligible to receive a need-based grant up to $5,000 per month, for the duration of the six-month grant period.

They assess Google Cloud credit grants on a case-by-case basis.
Following the initial six-month grant, they will provide another six-month Google Cloud credit grant for ongoing projects, resulting in one year of credit support.


Eligibility

Organizations that meet the following criteria are eligible to participate in the Google for Nonprofits program:

Registered as a charitable organization in one of the countries listed below. All organizations must be validated as a nonprofit organization by TechSoup or the local TechSoup partner. See country-specific eligibility details below.
Not one of the following:
Governmental entity or organization
Hospital or health care organization
School, academic institution, or university (philanthropic arms of educational organizations are eligible). To learn more about Google’s programs for educational institutions, visit Google for Education.
Requirements for Data Solutions for Change

Must meet the Google for Nonprofits eligibility criteria and have a Google for Nonprofits account.
Acknowledgement of and agreement to Google’s required certifications regarding nondiscrimination and donation receipt and use.
Acknowledgement of and agreement to Google’s terms and conditions for the program.
Live website with substantial content.
Organizational and/or research data to be analyzed in your project.
Google reserves the right to grant or deny an organization’s application or participation at any time, for any reason, and to supplement or amend these eligibility guidelines at any time. Selections are made at Google’s sole discretion and are not subject to external review.

If you don’t already have a Google for Nonprofits account, please sign up to be considered for the Data Solutions for Change program.

Submit your application to Data Solutions for Change
Applications for Data Solutions for Change are reviewed on a rolling basis and placements are first-come, first-served. You’ll hear from them within 2–4 weeks.
